I had a wonderful conversation with a friend yesterday. She was sharing her work challenges of being a manager and she made a wonderful statement. She said "When I start to feel uncomfortable about a situation or challenge...I know I am growing!" I loved her outlook! Isn't this so true for us as outdoors people and hunters? I received my first bow this year from my dear friend Les Nation. He presented me this wonderful gift this past summer, the only problem is I felt uncomfortable with my lack of knowledge and very intimidated to use it this hunting season. Thanks to many of the gals of the Women's Bowhunter Association http://www.site.womenbowhuntersassociation.com/
They have given me lots of moral support. I am so glad I am growing and opening the door to new and exciting adventures!
Many times while hunting, I have felt a little uneasy or uncertain about how to properly handle situations. When you are out in the woods by yourself it can get a little nerve racking and sometimes a bit scary. I think it is because of the "great unknown territory"
