Touched by Angels

Marge FolakDoeville is a wonderful place!  Yesterday I received a package in the mail from one of our wonderful customers.  This special customer called in an order earlier this year for one of our hoodies.  As we chatted on the phone she said she would need a smaller size as she was going through chemo and had lost weight.  She also shared with me about getting her first ever bear tag...she was so excited!  I decided to make her a special creation for her to carry with her in the woods to protect her.  With an antler button and 2 small feathers from my first turkey, I made a special Angel and put it on a muslin bag.  I wrote on the bag "Marge's Huntress Angel" and placed in the order with her hoodie.  She called a few days later and told me how much her little Angel meant to her!  It was a very special feeling for both of us!When I saw her name on the package, I was anxious to open it up hoping to find something from her bear hunt.  What I found was the most touching letter written by her precious husband Bill.  He was writing to let me know that his Best friend, lover and hunting buddy had lost her battle with cancer on November 20th.  My eyes filled with tears and my heart sank.  My dear friend who I had only talked to on the phone had become a REAL Angel!  Enclosed in my package was a picture of Marge  posing with the last Turkey she harvested.   I had never seen her, but in my mind I had pictured what she looked like and the picture was almost identical...amazing!  I believe huntresses must have a divine bond.  Also in the package was a hand made Wing Bone Turkey Call made by her husband Bill....WOW...I am so touched by Angels!  On the call my name was engraved along with" Your Friend Marge".  Bill enclosed instructions and history about the wing bone call and told me Marge would want me to use it!

The gift of Marge, Bill and my Wing Bone Call are priceless!  I have been touched by Angels!  May the Creator and the great creatures of the Forest watch over Marge and Bill.  And may she always be there with us as we are surrounded by the Sanctuary of the outdoors.

Peace,

Kim Pezzeminti

What a beautiful story, you and Marge were obviously kindred spirits. It is a strong bond that we can form with the huntresses that we meet!
